Who You Are Becoming

This message is for my sons and daughters.

There will be moments in your life when you question who you are. The world will try to name you before you’ve had the chance to define yourself. It will measure you by what you do, what you have, or what you’ve achieved. But I need you to understand something early—your identity is not something the world gives you. It is something you build.

You are not here by accident. There is purpose in your life, even in seasons where things feel unclear. Growth will not always feel good. There will be times when you are stretched, challenged, and even uncomfortable. But those moments are not here to break you—they are here to shape you.

As my sons and daughters, I want you to take ownership of who you are becoming. Be intentional. Be disciplined. Be aware of your choices. Because every decision you make is building something—either a life you are proud of or one you will have to repair later.

You don’t have to be perfect. But you do have to be committed.

Commit to growth. Commit to truth. Commit to becoming someone who stands strong, even when life gets hard.

That is where your legacy begins.
